It's such a weird thing, we are definitely finishing above WCE but no chance of a prem, would be great to make finals though as we already have the second pick in the WA draft, that doesn't change with our ladder position only with compo
Without a doubt. Should be a regular for the rest of the season.
Got a bit hairy at the end there. More than it needed to. Some decision making really needs to be tightened up and we could use a bit more assertiveness at the ball.
Great win though. Definitely looked more dynamic with Tuhakaraina (and Roux) in there. Zero need to rush Antonio back at this stage.

Tuks was definitely a bit stiff to get dropped after limited opportunity but max impact in the Derby.
WC have already applied for compo pick’s don’t be surprised if we start at pick 4
Yeah I expect it to be atleast 3 but do expect a compo for Cuthbo at either 3 or 4
either way us making finals won't affect it

Bewildering that the heat, 29 c was a factor in the Dockers favour!!!! We have just come off our coldest winter for many years. Victoria never gets hot weather. Bewildering.
Bewildering umpiring from the start. Two obvious free should have gone Freos way, but play on.
The third quarter, when the game began to change, some very bewildering Richmond frees and some very bewildering non free to Freo.
but a good gutsy win by the girls. Held firm in the latter part of the game.
Some good signs in the way they played. A bit like the way they played the year we were robbed of the flag.
But need to get stronger in the marking part of the game. They killed us in that area.

But totally predictable as long as WC women continue to be absolutely crap. The only positive is that WC women are playing the other three bottom teams before the end of the year and every win would help our position.
They need to get off their #r@e. No other club is being impacted by a basket case club like we are being . We are being totally disadvantaged by it being in our only market .

Only watched the first quarter so far, but am I wrong to feel like it's possibly the best football the women's side has played over the last two years, if not even over their entire time in the competition?
