North are the worst of the 4 but on their day could actually beat those teams

Thats my other point that I was complaining about last week, they need to stop treating the women like Auskickers, we are eight years in, start paying the frees when they are there.

All we get is an inconsistent mess because the umpires are clearly giving players too much benefit of the doubt, they're babying them still and some players know what they can get away with

It’s very funny how umpire decision seem to be in favour what the AFL want.

I think it must be a struggle to get enough umpires that are up to standard (for what they've invested). There's just no feel for the game in so many free kicks either paid or unpaid. The sooo so blatant push in the backs that just get missed time and again is just one example of the huge mess the umpiring is in.

Thought our play was pretty solid for 3 quarters then we got overrun in the last by a team with a whole lot more on the line.

I'm not convinced the contracts for AFLW players mean anything yet

It's not the contract status I'm thinking about; it's the intent. If the talk is at that ER is already working on the extension, that says either (or both) that she's more than happy to stay with them or Freo's not putting enough into making her want to join us.
