I agree it's not ideal, but it wasn't like last season where we just looked uncompetitive against stronger teams and didn't really give ourselves a chance for quarters at a time

During the first half today we played with much more intent & an attacking mindset, we also created chances but just couldn't finish them

We then kept North scoreless in the second quarter & them only scoring one goal in the first quarter - so it's not like the opposition was just dominating & us looking on

Really like Johnson, she will only get better and her defensive play frees up others.

Very impressed with Morrison, I know she was highly regarded when we first got her but with 2 seasons out I expected less impact. She looks really good.

We have a lot of young girls and some better players this year so we are on the up and up

Good signs. With a young team we ran out of legs in the last.

The new players on the whole looked okay.

Prespakis belongs.
Fuller will be our number 1 ruck this year, no question.
Kearns really adds some bite.
Johnson & Emonson fitted in well in the backline.
Friswell looks like she could be a player in a few years.

Some of our senior players let us down at times today.
