Will be difficult. We are back to the lower pack. And lot of the younger teams probably will naturally and more easily improve.

But we lost quite a few players and had a tough drawn until this stage of season.

We lost a few and copped a bunch of injuries. Actually feel like Franklin and a few of the younger crew are starting to show superstar signs. We’ll bounce back in 2023.

We are playing Collingwood this week who are top 4 and definitely won’t be travel weary.
This is their first trip outside of Victoria this year.

Biggie - any news for us? 🤞🤞
Yeah

It won’t be mine playing - she wasn’t one of the 4 to be invited to training last night. At still 17 she’s not quite there yet but this experience has been amazing

However my money is on Madizen Wilkins or Amber Kinnane being the player - more mature bodies. The one missing out plus Jae Flynn and Ruby Mahony to be emergencies.

Watching training Wednesday - the numbers in the track were low and Eb certainly didn’t look confident at all.. I’d be surprise if they risked her at all now (a few weeks back I thought she looked ok too)

Mullholland (head knock) & Franklin (ankle) both left the track early… Mullholland I don’t see playing

Can’t believe that we are needing more players for a game. Biggie’s daughter is a train on. I really hope she’s getting a game.

Appreciate that but she’s not ready for this AFLW level right now. 100% grown as a player and should tear WAFLW this season due to this exposure and experience gained from Freo

Still - bloody nice to read her name in paper and hear her name come out of Trent’s mouth at the recent presser 😍

Ah shame, but if she’s only 17 then she’s still a baby. Time is on her side!

I had a feeling a few weeks back that Ebony would be out for the season. She may get back for a game or two at the end hopefully, but we’re not playing finals so who knows what they decide. I think they’d rather her playing that not regardless, but an 8-10 week injury has certainly changed a bit in its time frame.
