This is really detrimental to rebuilding sides. You'd think with our late draft picks we've picked the over agers we think can play? Hopefully there area few of the train ons who have developed who we now rate

The trading thing is also next to useless to us as seemingly few people consider coming west (and why would they for what paid) and honestly why would the Eagles trade with us ( aside from obviously giving us back Ella)

Until we have a full time league, the AFL should look for a relocation allowance and subsidy for interstate players and roll back to a national draft. This is imperfect but the current drafting and trading situation favours the east coast clubs

Why not just wait to hold the draft until after the fillies season is complete? Or hold 2x drafts. Or a mature age pre-selection period, then a draft?

Once again we’re being used up the AFL, given no after care, and being asked to call them daddy. Ffs

It is truly impressive how many different ways the league's governing body can do us dirty over the past 27 years or so.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I want them to lose the pink. We’re one club, our colours are purple and white. Men and women should wear the same guernseys. No other club has added colours to their women’s jumpers, I think it’s a bad look and have done from season 1. There, I said it.
