As long as Giants win
Welcome to the Artificial Intelligence Football League!
The AiFL is a new league-based AFL competition. The competition will follow a regular round robin structure followed by finals, in which a team will get 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. The number of rounds and length of finals will depend on how many teams enter into the competition. The AiFL follows a new and unique design process, where competitors provide a location and let ChatGPT decide the rest. Each competitor team will be decided by the following prompt:
Create a new AFL Team for a team in (Location), including colours, team name, logo and 2 sponsors
ChatGPT will create a response like the following:
Team Name: Adelaide Phoenix
Colours: Crimson Red, Charcoal Grey, and Gold
Logo: The team's logo features a majestic phoenix rising from flames, symbolizing rebirth, resilience, and strength. The phoenix is rendered in crimson red colour with charcoal grey and gold accents, creating a striking and dynamic image that embodies the team's spirit.
Sponsors:
Adelaide Casino - a premier entertainment venue located in Adelaide, known for its world-class gaming, dining, and nightlife offerings, and a prominent supporter of local sports.
Coopers Brewery - a beloved local brewery based in South Australia, known for its award-winning beers and commitment to quality and tradition.
Each competitor is allowed a second ChatGPT response if they do not wish to use the first one. From then, it is your job to create 3 designs and a team Logo using the provided information.
Entry Structure
Location: e.g. Adelaide
Your team may be located anywhere in Australia, from a large city like Melbourne or Sydney, to a small regional town like Whyalla. Although, teams will not be allowed in smaller islands outside of the 8 states and territories.
ENTRY CUTOFF:
Friday 28th April will be the cut-off for all entries. I plan to do create all team prompts and distribute them that from 6:30pm so that participants have plenty of time to work with their entry. If entry numbers are low at that date, everything will shift to a later date.
Rules
Entrants will be required to design:
- A team logo
- Home Kit (To be worn at all home games)
- Away Kit (To be worn at all away games)
- Stand-Out Kit (To be worn in Stand-Out rounds)
The HOME kit is your clubs main identity and will be worn at all home game. This kit may be worn in away games if a clash occurs.
The AWAY kit is your clubs secondary identity and will be worn at all away games during the season unless a clash occurs. This kit must provide a suitable contrast from the Home kit.
Think bold, bright, colourful and think of a way to be Stand-Out from the rest. The STAND-OUT kit will be worn during the two Stand-Out rounds throughout the season and will give your team the opportunity to express themself on the big stage.
All guernseys must contain the following:
- Sponsors: Sponsors must be located on the FRONT LEFT chest, BELOW the number on the back and on the FRONT LEFT side of the shorts. Above number sponsor is optional.
