WWE might've been right about Malakai Black - there's nothing about him that's entertaining me.
So glad to see someone else with this thought. I don't get it either.

I'm surprised more people weren't excited by the Bryan/Fish match. That's exactly the style of wrestling I like. Thought it interesting from the start, how they'd both wrestled the night before so Fish tried to go after him right from the start. It was a very cool ending that I didn't see coming as well.

Social media melting

now FS1 has less homes than TNT
But Smackdown is a longer running show that had been going since earlier in the night.

Smackdown just won the over all for that half an hour.

Overall Smackdown won by a bit for the whole show but Rampage starts at 10.

I think what also seems to be forgotten.
How much do Fox and USA pay for Smackdown and Raw? TNT paid much less supposedly for AEW.

Think TNT are rubbing their hands together at that bargain.-

‘they are until it’s renewal time

Really? What were the numbers?

Rampage won the 18-34 demo (male only).

Also the people 25-30 who work over 14 hours a week but less than 22 hours

People 18-25 who purchase groceries online between the hours of 1pm-6pm.

And if you remove 8 major city markets they took home the chocolates in the 18-49 (male only).

I like AEW, I honestly do. Probably doesn’t sound like it. But the champagne popping and claims of victory for the most minuscule of things is insufferable.

each show drew a 0.24 in the key demo, with Smackdown's 0.24 slightly ahead of AEW's 0.24, with AEW starting at 10pm and Smackdown at 8pm. Smackdown got an overall 886K and AEW 578K. In the 30 minute head-to-head, AEW won in the key demo comfortably.

So it's a pretty clear victory for AEW considering the context. Smackdown did not add 30 minutes ad free time, did not pay for Brock to be there and did not do a Becky/Sasha match just to be in the exact same ball-park as a show that did nothing different beyond getting their own ad free segment as well.

In the end, the shows go back to their normal times, at least for a week, and the silly fight ends and the world keeps turning, but WWE clearly didn't land the punch they aimed for

I think people liked it but may have felt it was overshadowed by BD v Suzuki the night before.

Who is champagne popping? Both good shows and rated well given the circumstances and were essentially a tie 18-49 with Smackdown as expected having comfortably more viewers overall. That's it really.

12 woman tournament for the TBS Title, with 4x 1st round buys. Ugh!

so this is my guess for participants: Jade, Riho, Nyla, Shida, Tay, Anna Jay, Ruby, Thunder Rosa, Jamie, Serena, Kris, Bunny.

(and that's leaving out Emi, Penelope, Abadon, Sky Blue, Swole, Leyla and Red Velvet)

Yuck
