This isn’t WWE. A loss doesn’t mean a burial.

Also what’s wrong with Archer losing to Kingston? What should AEW be doing with a 44 year old Lance Archer?

Archer billed as a “monster” yet he’s copped some lame lame finishes. Should have just had someone else in the tournament I mean they had Dustin Rhodes in a world title tournament after all....

Good match. Lame ending.

Didn’t like how Cody got up so quick from the Black Mass

The ending was incredibly overbooked to make Cody look strong, completely unnecessary to make the Black Mass look weak.

Living my fantasy. Wrestling for a major company and playing in a successful metalcore band. What a man.

Hahahaha everyone knew it was coming. Goodbye Black he is done already.

They really have no idea how to use Archer do they. He has copped some massive losses that he didn’t need to.
The Archer match ended early because he was injured. Thought that was pretty obvious.

Kingston/Bryan was the obvious match, as shown in the off-air promo that happened. but yes the first round matches in this tournament are odd and leading to oddly booked matches, to say the least. it really should have been a 4 round/16 man tournament. they're going straight from these weird matches to Mox/OC, two of the most protected wrestlers in AEW and who have never had a singles match in AEW.

the show really needed a trios match between the opener and main event. not sure how many wrestlers were on the Jericho cruise, but there was too much talking. the two squashes were good, cutler is class in his role. sammy and his dumb cards need to go away. you can tell AEW weren't aiming for a top show cause they had Jungle Boy do a promo, which wasn't terrible, but you know, he hates talking so any time he does talk, and in the ring to boot, I take it as a sign they're doing some trial and error on the show. main event was good fun. would have been hilarious if Cody lost again but I don't think it really matters. cody teases a pedigree en route to the tiger driver and I bet there's still people out there that think that Cody thinks he's a baby-face...

Fair bet that every match won’t be two minutes, or there abouts, long either.

the flip-side to that is it there's a good chance most of the matches will have a long commercial break inserted into it. the match tonight had a 2:30 break in a match that went 8, which is pretty standard for the sole woman's match on the show. the more I think about it, the more I think they really don't need another woman's singles title. they need to have woman's matches that go beyond the same formulaic 8 minute singles match with an ad right through the middle of it. they spent a fair bit of time promoting Shida/Deeb so it's reasonable to think it'll go longer than the last match, which was 10, but let's see if it pushes 15 minutes. if they're going that long, you'd think today's show would have been the show to do it on...

I thought that was a pretty good Dynamite. Bookended by 2 excellent matches by the Rhodes brothers. The Cody/ Black match was one of the best Cody matches I’ve seen. Not sure what all the complaints are about Cody going over? Black destroyed Cody and all his associates upon his debut and it took Arn to fire up Cody to a point where Cody got redemption. I thought Cody was going to hit a Pedigree when he was setting up the Tigerdriver. Richmond boys in here would have gone crazy lol. Solid episode and no one died despite Archers best efforts.

Yea was a reasonable show. Much better match from Ford this week to against Soho after her disaster last week v Hogan.

Main event a bit overbooked. With all that going on there could have been some protection for Black but it wasn't as bad for him as the usual pathetic, hypocritical cry babies around here are making it out to be.

Seemed they could have lost track of time and had to race through the last few minutes after final commercial.

Cody no selling a coup de gras and then brushing off a black mass after 5 seconds were interesting choices.

Wasn't intended to be that way. They ended up rushed for time as Andrade badly missed his cue to run in which mucked everything to follow around a bit. Isn't necessarily good either as they shouldn't have overbooked the match with all that needless crap. But Cody recovering so quickly as he did was not intended.

What the hell was it with Sammy and those dumb cards?

The segment before with Sammy and American Top Team gave us all the information we needed and I thought it was pretty good and then he comes out with the cards which felt like it went longer than the promos. It was very annoying.

Apart from that it was an okay show the MJF stuff with Sting was great.

I don't really get Punk coming out to defend some jobber randomly just to set up the Fish match. If I'm missing something there I'm happy to get corrected there otherwise get Punk on the mic and atleast explain why he felt the need to 'save' the bloke and put some heat into his match with Fish.

Why does every Cody match involves either interference shenangians or unneccessary blade job or both.

I can see why the fans hate him.

Show was enjoyable. Danielson/Rhodes was fantastic.

MJF/Sting segment was excellent.

Cody vs Black felt like a huge deal, but the wrong man won. I can forgive it if this legitimately changes the course of Cody's character. He'll continue to get booed and could now make selfish decisions while acting as a tweener for the rest of his career. Everybody will always know it was Black who permanently changed him. Then the loss is largely forgotten.

Cody needs to embrace full hhh and have a golden shovel
He is usually self aware and there are many things that tell me he is headed to the “I’m a hero in my eyes but a heel” kind of character. He wore a “Homelander” style outfit at All Out.

Very entertaining ep of Dark.
There can be no argument that Danielson just loves to wrestle.
Remember watching an interview where he got caught out by Punks “I just want to wrestle everybody” as that was what he wanted to do but didn’t want be “tired”, so went with “Kick everybody in the head” instead.

Just got around to watching Dynamite and I really enjoyed it.

All through the card there are well built storylines that I care about.

Kenny Omega is a ****ing joke and it seems like he'll never be able to cut a half decent promo. But besides that embarrassing group (and probably the women's division) everything is strong and what I like in wrestling.

Daniel Bryan has been fantastic, Bobby Fish has put on some great matches and I'm keen for him to face Punk. The Jungle Boy was great, MJF vs Darby is building really well.

After all the no-selling the Bucks and Lucha Bros do I can easily overlook what Cody was doing. I thought their match was fantastic and told a great story. I'm not sure why so many people get caught up in results instead of storylines. It's fake, I don't care about results. I just care about a good story, and that feud has told a pretty good story, and had a fascinating ending. I'm very interested in what Cody does next.

That OC match against Hobbs was some of the worst garbage I've seen on AEW.

I second the sentiments about those dickheads in blue in the front row of the show. I would be furious if I were behind them, just so inconsiderate. I'd be very nervous buying super expensive seats three rows back because of that.
