Am I the only one who thinks the Dogs will get flogged?

Correct. The so called "experts" are hilarious at times. David King ha been crowned as fox footy's stats and analysis guru. Anyone remember who he tipped for the flag pre-season? Fremantle. I rest my case

He also tipped the Bulldogs to miss the eight.

While I agree, and he did admit to not tipping the Dogs at all in the finals - at least he did own up to his error, unlike some in this thread.....

Must say I am staggered at how many people seem to think the Dogs can win it. As a neutral, I just cant see them getting close.

I can't see them kicking anywhere near enough goals with Stringer so badly out of form.

I cannot see them being able to hold Buddy and Tippett.

The Swans midfield runs far deeper than the Dogs too.

What am I missing?
Tippett?
I mean you almost had me there for a minute. i was prepared to listen with an open mind but when you were worried about who was going to 'hold Tippett' I knew you had jumped the shark.
Since when has Tippet ever done anything ever?
No-one needs to 'hold' him. He holds himself with his pure shitness, lack of agility and lack of footy smarts.
2016 edition Danny Southern would towel him up.

You're a debutant for a reason.
And perhaps if you posted less and analysed more you would have known that in any other year the Dogs had enough wins to be in the top 4 all despite having numerous injuries throughout the year. The actual gap between 1 and 7 was smaller than in other years even less so when you consider the 5 players that returned in the finals.
Your original comment was either ignorant or jealous or both!

As I said....

Perhaps my analysis would lean favourably towards the fact that since the current finals system was implemented in 2000 not one side outside the top 4 has won a premiership.

I am not talking about 'any other year', the reason the WB were 7th was because 6 teams in front of them had more wins or a better %, so comparing it to 'any other year' is irrelevant when you loom at the situation on a 2016 basis.
