Richmond at least get to play good neutral teams away and win, doubt West Coast would be able to if they get the chance
So you're comparing facts with opinion?

Optus is both West Coast and Fremantle's home ground so it is neutral, the MCG is both Richmond's, Melbourne's and Collingwood's home ground so it is neutral, neither Richmond or Sydney's homeground is Etihad so it is neutral
What it is - is stealing sydneys opportunity to get valuable mcg time playing them at etihad

I just feel so sad that Sydney get robbed of the chance to play the the mighty Tigers at the G
Sydney lose out on a change to play on the g

We lose out on one of the few actual home ground advantages we have (being a Vic team)

Fewer supporters go cause tigers fans don't like the dome, losing the afl money

Literally no one wins. You wonder why they do it.

The guys trolling he literally said that Etihad is a neutral ground for west coast and Sydney.

Given the AFL now owns Etihad, why on Earth is it still happening?

Admittedly, I was at a bar with people so I only half saw the match but from what I saw, you're 100% right. Sydney's defence was ridiculously solid.
It saves us every week. I dont know how they are doing it. Our mids are getting smashed. The only ones who can put their hands up and say they are doing their job week in week out are florent, heeney and hewett

Well allir just comes in and .... soldier out - soldier in

I think they played something like 8 out of their first 11 at home.

Their draw on the run home is more even.

7 from 11.

Considering we were the 'away' team in the derby it's about right. Big whoop, we were the home team 6 times instead of 5.5 out of 11.

WCE just beaten by a better side twice this year. Simples
Sydney were better than us yesterday; if anything, the score flattered us. That said, we dominated the early part of the game but couldn't break through and fought to the end to only lose by 15. I'm pretty happy with that. Despite round 1, I would be much more confident now of beating Sydney at home. Both should be top four and could well play again this season.

Playing at the smallest ground in the AFL helps. The Swans congestion game works a treat on small grounds.

It doesnt help when you play on the MCG against a Victorian team.

The only games we have lost this year have been at the SCG, we have won everywhere else we have played...
