Gutsy effort. 5 goals down early and then again in the 3rd. To win without the best ruckmen, best forward in the comp as well as a top 5 midfielder on the back of that week was bloody good. Even if they'd lost they showed tremendous fight.

I was one to sink the boot in this season but well played West Coast. Ya stuck it right up em last night.

Pretty lucky with port injuries - left them 3 down at the end and a massive ruck dominance to us.

Port are just absolutely jinxed against us.

Was proud of our performance today, held on bravely all game against a side who clearly meant business, gave a good fight.

Agreed. If I had to choose a loss from this year this would be it. Good timing to have a nice loss too just before finals, gets the boys back down to earth and more aware of where they are at and what sacrifices they will need to make to win finals.

Great performance by the Eagles. The last couple of weeks missing several big players due to injury and suspension they've really stepped up and showed some hard fight about them. Darling another injured Eagle to go down and a few dubious decisions went against them but the Eagles were well in it and could have easily won. With the away win to Collingwood West Coast are now proven.

Captain Bender, pull your head in son. You're just a troll with nothing better to do.
