For the next four weeks the first three new BigFooty Supporters Club subscribers after 12 midday each Monday will receive, free of charge, the 3 DVD box set "Aussie Rules Collection", including exclusive limited edition WEG poster artwork.

This is a brand new release of classic Aussie Rules movies on DVD.

The publishers spiel follows:

A celebration of Aussie Rules on the big screen!

Collected together for the first time, this 3 DVD Box Set of classic footy films is an unprecedented look at the great Australian game.

Included are the riotous footy film comedies The Club and The Great Macarthy, and the documentary Year of the Dogs, a thrilling insight into the trials and tribulations of the long-suffering Footscray football club.

PLUS an exclusive WEG Poster to celebrate the launch of the collection!

Films Include

THE CLUB (1980):

It's tough enough on the Australian Rules Football field, but in the boardroom it's a battle ground! In this club nobody plays by the rules.

The Club is the quintessential Aussie Rules Football film, blending comedy, satire, and the backroom intrigue surrounding the country's most hated (and loved) football club.

Starring Jack Thompson (Star Wars: Episode 2, Breaker Morant) and Graham Kennedy (Don's Party)

THE GREAT MCARTHY (1975):

He's Footy's Most Forward Full Forward!

This bawdy Oz comedy classic follows the exploits of McCarthy (John Jarratt), a country town football champ who leaves behind his humble beginnings for a path of sexcapades, fame and debauchery.

YEAR OF THE DOGS (1997):
This defining football documentary follows the high drama and tragedy surrounding the struggling Footscray football club. The 'mighty'
Bulldogs are broke, and haven't won a premiership since 1954, but that hasn't dinted the passion of the clubs undying fans. Maybe the west will soon have its day. GO DOGS!

Also includes:

WAR WITHOUT WEAPONS (1976):
A rare and unseen documentary following North Melbourne's 1979 season under 'Supercoach' Ron Barassi. A candid behind the scenes expose of Barassi's motivational speeches, training sessions and locker room antics as he pushes the Kangaroos to the top.

Other features:
Football Grand Final 1968 - (1968, 5mins) Introducing Australian Football (1973) High Mark (1947 - 9mins)

Be one of the first three people to subscribe to the BigFooty Supporters Club after 12 midday on one of these dates:

Bit worried about the quality of that 1976 doco about a 1979 season!
