I think we are bigger chances in high jump than the women's javelin.

Nicola might have been equal favourite for the high jump if the defending Olympic champion didn't smash the World Record a couple of weeks ago - 7cm higher than the Aussie has ever managed.

Mackenzie recently defeated the javelin favourite & champion with a new personal best and always throws well in big comps.

Both of the Aussie girls are phenomenal athletes though.

There are other medal chances in athletics but none except Nina Kennedy are gold favourites.
