tiniest Fraction of a second, over Jamaican Thompson, displayed enormous modesty.
At once, going over to congratulate and commiserate, offering a joint lap of honour with his opponent, in true Olympic spirit.

He comes across as a humble bloke which is weird in the 100m discipline I thought it was lovely to see him come over and congratulate the silver medalist and the bronze medalist. Now easily my favourite American runner.
