Does anyone know what the Brits, French and Japanese have left? Will 18 be enough?
The Japanese will probably take 3rd

They’ve got something like 3 more Gold finals in Wrestling (Having won 5 already)

Could do to the wrestling what China does to diving

Golds/medals per capita is so misleading. There are so many more important factors that go into winning medals.
yep. We’re flexing about per capita when alot of the countries competing are much poorer than us and invest **** all in olympic sports.

With how well NZ is doing, Australia can't even claim the golds per capita lead anymore.
The late great John Clarke said that among the first words a New Zealander learns is “per capita”.
They always win “the per capita Olympics”.

Not all medals are equal. There are sports in the olympics that have a far higher global participation rate than others due to resources and accessability to participate in those sports.
It's the sports that have a higher global participation rate where it is really more of an achievement to win at than others.

Don't think GB or France can overtake us. Could be wrong. GB might have some track chances, but won't be enough.

But Japan are 6-1 in wrestling finals and have 2 more to come. Even an Aussie miracle in the keirin might not be enough. Actually, I think keirin is big in Japan, so they might even be an outside chance there.

The last wrestling match is USA v Japan and could decide top spot. China in women's weightlifting is as certain as women's basketball for USA. Leaving USA needing to win women's volleyball or that wrestling match to come first.

Except she wasn't selected, she won qualification.

So the question you need to ask is why these better breakers or whatever they are called decided to pass on the competition to go to the Olympics.

But I digress we don't need to do shit about breaking qualification, this will never be in the Olympics again.

I don't care how she did it. You have a sporting body and you have an olympics coming up. You do what you gotta do to get the best talent. If the result of the investigation is "hey, the qualifying process was designed by a moron." then so be it. Thats one of the possible outcomes.

Setting goals should be based on the personell you have in your team at the time. In other words, it's to early too tell regarding realistic expectations.
We have increased in funding by federal level and Rinehart constitution. That's main successes come from

Yeah ok that’s not how these things work.

Be no different to the AFL season finishing and the league going well yes Freo finished 6th but they are an embarrassment to the AFL so we are going to replace them in the finals with Collingwood because reasons.

You don’t get to set up a qualification process and then change it retrospectively because someone you don’t like wins.

She competed she won, get over it and move on.
