Going away from footy jumpers but still on the topic of uniforms:

Australia have just released the latest great opening ceremony uniform that we'll all definitely look back on in 30 years, probably with more regret than nostalgia, but that's beyond the point.
They've gone the QANTAS air hostess look again, but this time with a toothpaste coloured blazer and shoes that aren't volleys. I reckon it's not an oppressive uniform, but it's not one I look at and say 'That's Australia'. What are everybody else's thoughts?

What's wrong with this? Shows our nation in our proud colours not that white crap.

Because we want to be taken seriously, not a global joke
The opening ceremony of the olympics is place to showcase on thing and one thing alone. Your nation. We don't need to be serious to be taken seriously, we are inherently good at sport.

(Sorry as you'd imagine I don't often get to say 'we're good at x')

Not sure about the gold bit but here in Perth both MLC and Wesley have green as their main colour in their uniforms, unless it's been changed of late?
Don't forget Penrhos

****ing penrhos girls are just the worst though.
