It was always the weaker half, but I expected better showings from Muguruza, Halep and Svitolina. At the moment you have a couple of seeds playing awful tennis and a few unseeded players playing ok.

Shows how bad the ones behind have been. She was number 2 by a mile so number 4 is a bit of a drop
Not a huge fan of Kournikova or Wozniaki, Ivanovic and Genie are much better. (Looks wise)

Six months is a bit deceiving - she has played four tournaments since the US Open (where she made the quarters and took a set off Serena) and hasn't lost to anyone outside the top 50.
Her form hasn't been great but I certainly expected more than a first round loss to Shelby Rogers - a girl who was utterly spanked by Ash Barty.

Kournikova was one of my first crushes! Lol
She was pretty good, but she didn't have a very endearing nature. Someone like a Kerber or a Dasha aren't as good looking, but they have very endearing natures...
