Machac and Lehecka are not in the same class as Alcaraz. Not by a long shot. You're dreaming if you think Novak will win in straight sets.

How many night matches has Alcaraz played this tournament? When was his last night match in the AO? How did that go? How many sets?

No dream. Just looking at this from a realistic point of view.

I don't think this is as significant a factor as you're making it out to be. Alcaraz has won plenty of matches at night before. That kind of thing doesn't bother the top guys.

1st round on MCA. Won in straight sets against Shevchenko.

Yeah Steffi Graf did, completed the Golden Slam. In 1988 she won all 4 Slams plus Olympic Gold in Seoul. The only woman to do this.
Graf's the only women or man to do the golden calendar grand slam...During that period she reached 13 straight slam finals winning 9 of them...Complete & utter domination for 3 years or so...Novak was eyeing it off in 2021, but just a bridge too far when he got to the Olympics.

He's playing great tennis and will still be a big underdog any time he plays Sinner or Alcarez.
Still don't think he is aggressive enough to ever beat these types of players in a Grand Slam. Feel like they can just play him off the court. Happy to be proven wrong.

Nah, don't sugar coat it, Michelsen has been beyond poor so far. Early days though!
De Minaur only getting a third of his 1st serves in. You would think a better player would be taking advantage of that.
