They’ve loss their class. At least with Federer it was fine, but it’s been happening a while. So because Federer & Nadal have retired, the Aussie crowds at the AO have become bogans, rude & boo?![]()

He tried too hard to be liked to the point where it grated people because it seemed so manufactured. He’s had his spats. Then there was the Covid $hit. And he was bloke that dethroned Fed and Nadal which irked their supporters. There’s a lot there that separates him from all the other blokes on the tour.Djokovic is the only player I have seen crowds consistently have an issue with. And it isn't even Australia-specific. So not sure where the "hate all things non-Federer" comes from
2023 Aus Open the first time he had left the USShelton just needs polish and he'll be a top 5 player. Still 22.
Crowds have had issues with Novak all over the world. Can't just blame Aus fans imoHe tried too hard to be liked to the point where it grated people because it seemed so manufactured. I'd suggest there a few people who started going to the AO in the past couple of years who don't really know much about tennis & don't understand tennis crowd etiquette. They’ve loss their class. At least with Federer it was fine, but it’s been happening a while.
2022 Final Nadal v Medvedev was disgusting. Cheered every error Danill made.
..and thisThe French crowd have even booed Rafa for a few years.
Sinner is cramping
Better get the cream ASAP
You're not funny, and that joke is stale as ****.
