This is the best part:

Pfizer said 170 volunteers in its trial involving over 43,000 people contracted COVID-19 but 162 of them had only been given a placebo, meaning the vaccine was 95 per cent effective.

Reminds me of the Gareth and the calculator scene in THE OFFICE (UK)

Along the lines of..'our product is fine, its the testing that was no good....'

I'll answer that honestly - none. I've just read lots of stuff from child development experts and other medical professionals, detransitioners, etc. Which is as much as any of us can do.

At least you have the courage to answer that.

End of the day.. we have a whole heap of people providing an opinion on a very sensitive subject.. and not one of us can say they have actually spoken to any of these children or their families.. and so not one single one of us knows anything of their personal situations and what they are going through.

Yet some of us here seem to believe they know better than these families and the health care providers tasked to provide them assistance.

And lets be honest.. some here are just parrotting the transphobic nonsense their favourite politician dogwhistles to them and laughably try and claim they really care about these kids.

The conversation is just going around in circles at this point.

I have .. 2 in fact

1 was the daughter, now son of close friend of my sister. My sister was giving him the needles when her friend went away a couple of times.

I've only met him twice. First time I met him I didn't know who he was. Just seemed like a normal 17 year old helping a tradesman out. Just to clarify, I don't know when he started to transition? I think it was when he was around 11-12.

Personally I couldn't give f*ck how people want to live their lives. If they're contributing something positive to society and aren't harming anyone else.

I do have a problem with how this works in sport. I do have a problem with how it's managed, for example, in woman's only or supposed safe spaces for woman.

I don't know the answer

It has been going on for years on here, some people are absolutely obsessed with child genitals. It makes one wonder.

Former PM Scott Morrison exiting Politics effective February, joins the procession of sub standard PM's we've had since Howard/Keating/Hawke.
Not sure why ScoMo hung around this long...

For her sake, I hope she avoids the potentially debilitating side effects of long term testosterone use.

Amazing that you would think genital mutilation of a minor is OK and those who disagree with the concept are somehow pedos. It is just bizzare beyond comprehension

So are Airbus Albo and Dr. Jim backflipping on their earlier decision to drop the "middle income offset"? Interesting.

I guess with commodity prices being so good though easing somewhat from record high 2022/23 levels.

I think it’s good he is showing some spine on this, as he hasn’t shown much on other issues.

Surely the smart political move would be to keep the stage 3 tax cuts as promised, then use some of the surplus to increase the tax free threshold, which would help all taxpayers... including low & middle income earners.

Which, unless you listen to the hyperventilating of the LNP snowflakes, is what it sounds like Albo is going to do.. keep the S3 tax cuts as is and just add a little bit onto the policy to include those earning less than 45,000 and give more relief to all by increasing the tax free threshold..

going to be interesting to see Dutton and his conga line of suckholes desperately try and campaign against tax cuts for all as opposed to just tax cuts for some..

Dutton could very quickly find himself wedged between a rock and a hard place..

He’s keeping the superfluous 37% rate and reducing the tax cut for people earning over $100k who missed out in the stage 1 & 2 cuts (that benefited lower income taxpayers)

That’s police officers, nurses, tradies, small business owners, etc

I think Albo is grossly under estimating the sort of people who earn between $100k and $200k and who are sick of being generalized as “wealthy” who aren’t paying their fair share.

Pretty sure he’s not announced a single thing yet.. just said 1 sentence on radio and that was.. “everyone will be getting a tax cut”..

all the other reporting is media rumour.

Phil Coorey doesn’t deal in rumours

Phil Coorey doesn’t deal in rumours

Cant read it.. behind a paywall..

prefer to just take it straight from the horses mouth.. until they come out and state otherwise.

and Albo and Marles both said today their position on S3 “hasn't changed”..

but its sounds like they are gonna beef up S3 even further and the LNP will have ninsay in it as Lambie and Pocock have already committed to allowing changes if they benefit even more Aussies.

the rumour youre hearing, and coorey is reporting, is probably the one from 2GB radio.. wouldnt trust those knobs as far as you could throw them..

Well just have to wait

I trust Coorey eleven-fold over albo

You "never said it's OK " but people who say it's not OK are "obsessed". OK.
good luck trying to have any sort of rational conversation with someone that owns one of these
