On topic, can assure you of one thing, they would not be walking into a female public toilet
back in the day after my 10 year old daughter had gone in. End of story .

Is it a common issue today? Never noticed, but then I don't hang around female toilets.

It would appear Australia has more of an issue with paedophiles in general than trans-gender paedophiles. Most of these have not changed sex & many abuse their position of power. Ie. The likes of Alan Jones, Rolf Harris, etc should be more of a concern how they have got away with abuse for decades!

What I don't understand is why the government won't change legislation that then allows for a nuclear power industry and let the market sort it out? If the numbers don't stack up, then nothing will get off the ground. Surely the 'too late, too expensive' crowd must wonder why reactors are being commissioned all over the globe.

You missed the point , Alan Jones and Rolf Harris could not go into a female public toilet because they are not masquerading as women. On your logic (assuming you do support trans, anatomically male persons accessing female toilets ) any male could then dress in drag, say I am transgender and frequent female public toilets legally.
As males are overwhelmingly the culprits in sex crimes against children does this not just open
another opportunity to access children often unsupervised?

BTW don’t know what the smart arse comment about hanging around female toilets means
perhaps you have never had a daughter that has had to use a public lavatory?
But if you do perhaps you could ask that fella to keep an eye on her while you wait outside !

Of course they are. The USA has a long held culture and entitlement to force its will on other countries for its own personal gain. Not all of this is bad, some of it was to remove corrupt governments.

I'm not being a smartarse... I'm stating facts that paedophiles are a far bigger problem in society than transgender.

Clearly you have a phobia & bias.

How many transgender people are in court on charges compared to paedophiles?

Feel free to list all the recent court cases for both as may give you an education.
