It wasn’t even fishy. It was blatant.

But it’s not good for the AFL coffers to have Collingwood lose to North and either miss the 8 or scrape into the bottom half of it.

The whole interpretation of the game changed after half time and it wasn’t coincidental.

People in the stands could see the Sidebottom throw late in the last, but 4 of them all managed to see it as a handball.

We shouldn’t have let them back in the game but when the umpires decided to interject themselves into the game in the 3rd quarter, you know that there is something rotten in the sport.

Pretty much my take. It's our own fault, really. You don't lose games when you're 9 goals up. The fact that we allowed them back in, and some ordinary midfield defensive efforts, but the umpiring wasn't great, and they certainly have a fixation on Nick Daicos.

League has become scripted. As a Richmond supporter, i've been seeing this shit since we upset the boys club during the hub. Since then our free kick differential is the worst in the league by almost double. I don't even blink anymore when days like that happened to nth today happen to us.

I am not talking about staging, but always asking the umpires for a free kick, why a HTB or 50 was not paid, etc.

I don't like it either, but that is what professional sports teams do. If the AFL don't like it, they have the power to stop it, but until they do, we need to be working the umpires.
