Autopsy Autopsy vs Collingwood aka the Great Pain Robbery

We need pick 1 more than anything else, and we need to make pick 1 a real winner. Stuffed up with JHF (who is going to be a superstar that is better than any youngster we have), and we've missed out on Reid who again is probably going to be a superstar that is better than anyone we have.

But we’ve got Wardlaw instead of JHF - who will be just as good.

TBH I think Fisher, McDonald, Tucker (and to a lesser extent Scott due to foot skills) is where we lost the game through the usual sh!t bombing of the ball to the opposition.
Supposedly senior players. That's the disappointing part. Our decision making in the 4th was very poor.

We need a massive pre-season.

No Vegas trips or Channel 7 interviews in the Birdcage we need to get huge miles into our legs.

The second half fade outs have cost us 3 or 4 games this year and it’s a heap to do with fitness.

The future is very bright though.

Blatant wwe-style theatrics aside, I rather focus on the positives. Clearly we ran out of legs by late mid in the third against the reigning premier. They were always going to come back hard.

  • Wardlaw is freakishly good and will soon be one of the best mids in the comp.
  • Larkey flogged Moore.
  • Maynard is one day closer to retirement
  • Z and X were enormous. As was LDU .
  • I didn’t feel there were too many passengers.
  • We flogged the reigning premier for 2.5 quarters.

Just need to get these kids fitter and sky is the limit.

We can’t really be complaining about umps or 50’s if we’re 30 points up going into the last quarter.

Biggest margin 54?

By and large happy with what I saw today. Last weeks win has clearly energised the group.

Kinda laughable though watching Collingwood supporters response to their win and the players forming a huddle after the siren like they achieved something huge today. You lot got manhandled for the majority of the game by the worst performing team for the last 5 years.

Fatigue is more than understandable. Ldu and wardlaw really taking a hit
More so with Collingwood from playing twice this week. But the crowd affect on McDonald and Scott in the last stage was bizarre. It was like more senior bodies were put into their shells far too easily.

Come in peace.

You guys played an excellent game but how that was not a 50 when TWO pies players crept the mark is beyond me.

Fck the filth.

No fr*@&#&# idea….l give up…this is happening too many times….maybe you can tell me…lve watched it 30 times and the ump has a clear line of sight…….just 🤬🤬🤬🤬

And chadwicko l agree…

Subbing out Phillips lost us the game, not the umps
Lots of positives
Xerri, wardlaw, comben, pressure in general
lack good leaders to steady the ship
With 2 decisions not going our way, yes, we can blame the umps. HTB and the non 50.
Reality is, we are the bottom team in the game. Those campaigners were ALWAYS coming back as we run out of legs. We didn’t lose that, we had it taken away

Last week, we get the call against Yeo. This week, we’re denied a 50 metre penalty. Swings and roundabouts anyone. Unfortunately, Fisher blew it. He completely choked with that kick in.
We won by 2 goals last week. This was a direct impact with 2-3 obvious frees ignored and a massive FK discrepancy in the 2nd half.

Umpires no doubt pulled out their pistols and said "stand and deliver", but we should have never been in a position where a few howlers cost us the game.

Good but nowhere near good enough, and since the first half effort shows you cant just blame personnel, serious questions have to be asked about why scoring dried up like a corpse and why did no one predict that run on was going to happen, and happen in the fashion it did? players and coaching panel all looked like deer in the headlights.

And bring me the head of the man that made the Will Phil call.

Umpires a disgrace

But a massive L for our team after being 9 goals in front.

The quicker we can replace McDonald, Tucker, Stephenson and Taylor the better we will be
Taylor was fantastic today. Tucker did his job, as did the captain, mostly. Without their hard bodies and experience we’re not in a position to win at all.
