Deep down you just knew the loss was coming. Even with a lot of new players it's the same old thing.

Will be some horrible review watching tomorrow (especially the last qtr) for the following senior players:
Fisher
Mcdonald
Tucker
Scott
Zero composure from them. Multiple panicked dump kicks to the opposition killed us.
There was probably a reason, he probably indicated being tight in hammstrings or something. There is no way that happens without a reasonCannot believe they sub out WilPil.
Me.Anyone legitimately surprised with the umpiring?
It's Collingwood FFS.

We got a late free kick last week, didn’t we? If we keep playing like this, LDU and Zurhaar will be staying.Something that really saddens me is you could see how much LDU and Zurhaar wanted it. But will they want to stick around after games like that? Where they give everything an its ripped away at the final minute because we aren't one of the big teams and thus aren't supposed to get late free kicks. Why wouldn't they go to a team that does get that kind of umpiring love?
I mean yes & no.We didn’t lose that because of missed umpiring calls. There are always missed calls both ways.
We lost because our midfield is currently unable to maintain the rage for a whole game, and because we dropped the Daicos tag.
It was a good display. We knew when we were 50+ points up that there was going to be a comeback.
The boys will learn from it, and be better for it.
We have a similar opportunity against a depleted Melbourne next week.
Remember, North Big Footy, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.Heartbreaking. Knew the comeback was coming but it didn't make it any easier to lose a game, one we clearly should have won, by a solitary point. It's the hope that kills ya

Nup lm sick of these media clowns glossing over issues with this game…
Lousy behaviour there. Dog-act.Coming home on the train packed with filth..they can’t help telling me why North lost….FFS
I hope so.We got a late free kick last week, didn’t we? If we keep playing like this, LDU and Zurhaar will be staying.
This is good for the boys. They got their win last week, a loss by 1pt to the reigning premiers should have them hungry for the next win.I actually feel so bad for the boys
Last week, we get the call against Yeo. This week, we’re denied a 50 metre penalty. Swings and roundabouts anyone. Unfortunately, Fisher blew it. He completely choked with that kick in.

Got to admit that mark from Bobby was alright. I particularly liked how he nailed the landing. That dude might be the most balanced human I have ever seen.Bloody amazing game from your boys.
IMO the mistake was to play Stephenson as sub, he should have been played in the first half then bring Ford on as the sub. I really don’t think Stevo is contributing enough and the miss on goal or failure to set up another player who had a better chance was a pivotal point in the game.pick 1 walking into this team
Next year we see the big jump
Not subbing out pink or shiels was the dumbest decision
Let me assure you…if you were there as I was, surrounded by Collingwood fans and now travelling home with them on the train, you wouldn’t feel so fantasticUnfortunately I was out all day, checked the scores, slowly saw it whittled away. Am I the only one who hates rewatching a loss even by it’s a point, but will watch every second of a 1 point win?
Eh. Will watch the highlights.
Looks like we kicked really well, then the inevitable rabbits in headlights combined with maggot-reaming caused a record (and heart) breaking loss, true North style.
Nevertheless I am really, really proud of the boys and this ship is turning. There’s enough there to work with and I hope they see that and don’t drop their heads for the rest of the year.
Looking forward to coming across to Melbz in a couple weeks to see a game and get down to Arden street. I feel reinvigorated as a fan.
