for captain this weekend. Make no mistake he is young, but he has as much if not more leadership skills than most at St.Kilda. Hamills gone so to Riewoldt, so who do you think will get the title?

For me? give it to Ball.

Or you could call him...Lil' Voss

I tend to agree with those who say he is too young, I would love to see bally as our captain one day and think it's a shame we will only get him for a year. But i think they should give it to either lenny or max.

I think it's got to go back to Aaron or Lenny, so that the main focus is back on the next match. They are both leaders week in, week out.
Ball can wait for his year and just keep owning the footy for know.

I think the captaincy should go to aaron Fiora...just kidding.
I agree with those that ball is too young, i would be happy to see any of lenny, aaron (hamill) or max get it. But if I had my choice it would go to hamill

I think Ball will be a great Captain in the future. The benefit of the current system is that they are groomed into leadership, and get a fair bit of pre-season to grow into the role.
Give it to someone (Hamill) who can step right up, now. Aaron still looks like the biggest leader anyway, even before he was made Captain.

Anyway, might be good to use as a sweetener in contract negs with Bally later.

Dont worry Ball WILL be a Saint forever.

Too many people have said riewoldt was too young to been given captaincy this year and i ten to agree, TO A POINT, so where is the logic in putting a youger player who is 20/21? Hamill will without a doubt captain this week and he proved why in the final quarter of the brissy game

Ball is just as courageous and has just as much as leadership as Aaron. Ball wouldnt cry or sposedly show fear like Riewoldt did, he would battle on and keep showing up the opposition. When Ball becames captain of your first premiership team, then you will see how good/how much leadership skills he has.

You need to do a little more research mate.

Everyone's different mate, James Hird did the same thing 5 years ago and i think its safe to say that no-ones questioned his leadership since then

Bally's number one fan fahmi might be able to correct me on this but I think he's 2 years younger, he's not 21 yet.
20 turning 21
