It was a throwaway line in a press conference - ease up. The media are talking about our players glowingly - we have been starved of positive media attention for years now. Every one of those players is marketable for the club - if you want to see more prime time Hawks games then you’re going to want the rascal pack performing because neutrals will tune in.

I’d love to go back and have these guys again, but they would give away 20 free kicks a game and would be suspended every 2 weeks. Imagine how much Lewis would go for the Goldstein hit now, Hodge wrapping wingards head around a goalpost, or his elbow to Swallows jaw.

I loved all those things at the time but we just won’t see it again. Let this group be whatever they want to be, they play better when they have the responsibility of having to perform because they’ve lipped off to someone.
