interesting how a poster on a different thread on this forum wrote to another poster (they have a lonely hearts club) that jake lloyd must have ran over my puppy than when she/he has this same line returned on him in regards to reid tries to make out she/he hasn't written it because i had it deleted by the moderators.

i really rate reid as a player he has steadily improved over the three JLT matches.

It was me that mentioned the metaphorical dog being ran over but you've lost me on the second part...absolutely no idea what this is in reference to?

as florent didn't play today the odds are he will play loud 1.

From what I can tell none of Florent, Melican, Marsh, Cunningham played.

From last weeks team Cameron, Hayward, Towers, Naismith, Foote and Fox all played (with Fox seemingly missing after half time).

Hey guys is Cameron likely to play r1?

If he is, will he just be another sub in essence who only plays a small proportion of the game?

lloyd is the jpk of our defence?

Something weird must be happening in the world because funnily enough we agree on this. I would go even further and say that his role is similar to the role played for their teams by Andrew McLeod, Brett Guerra, Chris Johnson etc. He is becoming a VERY good player. I have always been a fan because the kid will give you 100% and then more when he has no more.

exactly. he can run like mcleod, kick like guerra and he is built like chris johnson. well spotted wolfy!

Best 22 for start of season for me, if everyone on the list was fit (will exclude AJ for now).

Smith - Grundy - Rampe
Mills - Aliir - Jones
Lloyd - Hanners - Rohan
Jack - Reid - Heeney
Papley - Franklin - Robinson
Tippett - Kennedy -Parker
I/C - Naismith - McVeigh - Hewett - Melican

* Next few in line - Cunningham, Florent, Hayward, Marsh .. would like to have one or two of Florent/Hayward in for more outside pace. Can't quite justify it yet.

* McVeigh gets not the nod for a spot ... only just, can see him being out of best 22 by season's end.

* Jones on halfback, but rotating in midfield, along with Jack, Heeney, Hewett.

* Big if , but if AJ was at some point fit for seniors, would have him in over Melican

* Would love to see them give Rohan a go as more an outside mid/winger, playing "level" with the ball, as opposed to ahead of it. Just feel he could use his pace better like that..and we need those line breakers.

*For round one, confirmed outs being Papley, McVeigh, Heeney, Rohan (and maybe K. Jack??) would have Cunningham, Florent, Hayward and Towers.....ouch, I don't like the look of our depth for now.

Only 6 days til our first game, can't wait. Bring it on.
