Had an illness as a child and spent a lot of nights up late... back in 1985/86 Channel 10 used to shows the odd NFL game and highlights on a Tuesday night (week delay), and got hooked pretty quickly

2nd behind AFL

Denver Broncos, since I started watching... fell in love with John Elway as a youngster... just had that something.

Chiefs / Texans / Saints

Raiders / Cowboys / 49ers

Champ Bailey / Lineman (Used to play O-Line in local comp)

Too many to mention... love any Battering Ram RBs... not many around these days, but the likes of Christian Okoye or Mike Alstott were my favs... Had a soft spot for Barry Sanders

Anyone who leaves the Broncos, any Raiders!

Broncos vs Packers SB XXXII - The Dive!

10. Least favorite NFL moment?
Watching the 49ers destroy the Broncos in SB 55-10

Met most of the Broncos when they came to Sydney, but missed Elway as he had just retired.

Everything!!! Pads, helmet, jerseys galore, t-shirts, tie, bed spread, socks, caps, posters, framed photos, limited edition trading cards, too many to mention

Broncos of course!

Strategy... being able to read setups and see what's happening, before it happens.

1. How did you start following the NFL?
On my High School orientation day, I saw some guys playing it during their lunch, and it looked pretty interesting, so I started watching it on the ABC with Don Lane. Got Madden '93 or '94 for the old 486, and haven't really looked back.

2. Where does the NFL rank in your favorite sports?
Numero Uno. Love the Hawks, will always love the Hawks, and they'll always be #1a, but I hate what the AFL Commission is doing to the game.

3. Favorite team? Since when?
Green Bay Packer. Tossed up between the Skins and 49ers, as they were the top teams at the time. But then saw a Packers game on C2, and saw Sterling Sharpe carve up a defense. My faith has not wavered since that night.

4. Other teams you like?
Baltimore, Arizona, New Orleans

5. Least favorite teams?
Minnesota, Chicago, Dallas, Denver

Rodgers, Jennings, Driver, Finley, Jenkins, Raji, Matthews, Barnett, Woodson, Collins.

I do have a couple but don't wear them anymore. I wouldn't buy any now, as when I got the others, it was a time where online shopping wasn't what it is now.

The tactics. Individual battles forming a team sport. Big plays on D and STs! Big plays on O aren't too bad either!

Packers... feels good to say that and actually think it's possible.

1. How did you start following the NFL?
My godfather came home from a trip to San Fran back in 1997, and presented me with an Oakland Raiders PJ set, didn't think much of it at the time, but then a friend of mine introduced me to Madden in 1998, remembered the Oakland Raiders, something about them drew me to supporting them / watching NFL.

2. Where does the NFL rank in your favorite sports?
Numero uno, dedication is me not missing a game for 7 odd years, waking up at insanely ridiculous hours to watch it.

Oakland Raiders, since I started following the NFL.

Colts, I like Manning, Packers, cause all my friends seem to be Packers fans

Patriots, San Diego .. but they always choke, so it's funny.

John Madden, for all the shit things that Al Davis has done lately, I would still like to meet the man, also would like to meet my favorite players.

3 footballs, 2 replicas and 1 official authentic, another one should be coming in the mail soon, 2 replica football jerseys (one of Rice and one of Moss), Raiders T shirt, Raiders short, Raiders PJs, NFL Sky Blue Fade Receiver gloves

Silver and Black, although the Cheesheads rate a mention

I really have no idea, people call it a sissy sport, and that it's stop and go slow, but when I watch it, I don't see any of that, I see hard hits, I see strategy, I see it that if 1 out of the 11 guys doesn't run the right route, doesn't block the right person, the play could fail, it is more of a team sport then people think, I like it in general.

No unfortunately, but that will change end of this year.

Through the Madden PS games, learnt the rules and the players then started watching whenever I could on Foxtel.

At the very top, only thing that comes close is English Premier League.

New York Giants. I originally started supporting the Rams but when Warner moved to NYG my interest went with him. He moved on after one season but I stayed with the Giants.

I admire the teams that have a winning philosophy and dont budge, they make the players adhere to the team/franchise principles - Patriots, Ravens, Steelers.

Philadelphia, Dallas and Washington.

1. How did you start following the NFL?
Started by seeing a few games on TV during the playoffs in 1981. Saw the playoff games between Cincinnati and Buffalo, Cincinnati and San Diego, San Francisco and Dallas (the Dwight Clark "Catch" game) and the Superbowl between San Francisco and Cincinnati. Was immediately taken by the game and have been a fan ever since.

Baseball is my number 1 - played for many years and have been to well over 200 MLB games. AFL 2nd, then NFL 3rd.

Cincinnati Bengals, since 1981.

Have a soft spot for the San Diego Chargers having spent a lot of time there, and was a fan of the LA Rams until they moved.

1. How did you start following the NFL? Not one moment but just an accumulation. First with highlights in 80's on some channel (???). Used to watch SBs in the 80s on TV. Remember a coupe of 49ers wins, Bills-Giants Bowl was the first one i really followed a lot closer. Then Madden '92 on Sega megadrive, Don Lane etc.

2. Where does the NFL rank in your favorite sports? Close 2nd after AFL. AFL is in the blood as born with it.

3. Favorite team? Since when? Well had 3-4 teams i always liked such as the Oilers. Disappointed when they went to Tennessee and stopped following them. Took an interest in Texans when they started but only last 2 seasons where I've "followed" more closely.

6. Favorite players from your team? Don't really have favourites. Admire Andre Johnson, Cushing has been great to watch this season. Schaub is underrated.

Stumbled across 1998-99 NFC Championship game on PayTV that year. 'Dirty Birds' (remember that? = Atlanta)(14-2) versus Vikings (15-1). Then watched John Elway in the AFC Championship. Hooked since.

Number 1. Living in Melbourne now and St Kilda on a high may challenge it!

Dallas Cowboys, must have been 1999-2000 season. Captured by Deion Sanders flair, but what stuck was the amazing playmaking ability and punt returns.

Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans. Influenced by Manning, Harrison, McNair and Ray Lewis - very strong organisations. Not just on the field.
