Rooster, did they not get value for money?? Or were they thinking his done with higher level and was potentially in it for longer? Heard the figure was high but you would expect that for someone of his calibre. His up there with Mcguaune, Jordan, Tudor and the likes!!

Macca is a fantastic coach. Had it not been for a dubious holding the ball free kick in the last minute of last years grand final he would’ve had North winning another premiership.

I’d say North got value for money. The consensus was he was getting a bit preoccupied with his role at Collingwood. And given his salary, it was expected he be all in on the club’s endeavours to go one better this year.

Having said that, he’s a professional coach, that’s how he earns a crust. So you can see both sides of the equation here.

Still highly regarded at the club and the opportunity afforded to the playing group to be guided by a guy who’s done it at the highest level will leave a lasting impression.

Good luck to him.

Potentially 3 great games ahead this week. Looking forward to watching both games at Darley Park.
Thinking it may be a sweep to the East with Melton, Sunbury and Darley getting the victories. But wouldn’t be shocked if they all went the other way.
Easts record at Darley Park isn’t great. Also North have not beat Darley in a final for over 10 years. Think they are 0-5 in that time. Some of them really close games though

Should be a great weekend. Melton will be hard to toss but East have the firepower to kick a winning score. My boys are a bit up and down and will need to bring their best to topple the Devils on their home deck. Ballarat proved last week they can match it with the best, I’m thinking they might get Sunbury. Should be a great finals series

Assume East Point v Ballarat will be at City Oval. Might have to play the other game there aswell, can only imagine the uproar from Melton if it’s played at Darley park as scheduled.
