AFL members are selling tickets at extreme prices, one guy tried selling me a ticket for 1.6k, on top of all the extreme prices it's rumoured MCG/AFL are gonna be strict checking membership cards and I.D so imo not worth the risk. Living in Melbourne so far this week i found strolling around in Crows gear I just get death stared by the more passionate tigers supporters. But yeah hoping there is some place in Melbourne for all other crows fans to watch the game together

With that said, I'm pretty resigned to not being able to be inside, hence looking for decent pub options. Just don't want to walk into a pub, or pay for a grand final day lunch package at a pub, only be be filled with aggressive Richmond supporters! Don't want to be in a position where I don't feel comfortable cheering when ADL score!

Im coming down from Brisbane tomorrow - missed out on tickets - but want to soak in the atmosphere at a pub anyway. Keen to be close enough to the ground to head to the aftermatch party once the game is done - but aint going anywhere near Richmond pubs. The supporters group on facebook are suggesting the Rose in Fitzroy (apparently the owner is a crows fan) or Bells in South Melbourne for crows supporters but might be a bit further from the G than i was hoping. Google reckons the Imperial, Duke, Millhouse as good spots - i plan to check out a few of these tomorow arvo. Be good to find a pub with at least a few dozen loud crows supporters though. Guess wherever it is will have to get in early.
