Bronze in athletics saw the Phoronuan team limp across the line but kept them from actually having a permanent limp on their return to Phoronu.

Baseball is now up, So lets look at the playing field and give our ratings:

The Most Serene Republic of Phoronu (PHO) - GRAND SLAM!!!!! 12/10


The Islands Republic of Saint Dremaine (STD) - Swing and a miss. Fantastic colours but they just don't work in this form. 5/10


The Commonwealth of New Edmund (EDM) - Simple but effective. Close to a top design, but just falls short. 7.5/10


United Socialist States of Spensar (SPE) - Close call, the umpires are conferring... Oh it is just called out. 7/10


The Socialist Republic of Vryheed (VRY) - Better than their other designs, but still not there. 3/10


Azeriak Republic (AZK) - Careful how you pronounce the text on the front. Feels too simple for us. 4/10


The Czerenian Republic (CZE) - Looks like Nike ran out of ideas. No design to speak of apart from the text. 2/10


People's Free Republic of Silveron (SIV) - Inside the park home run. 8/10


The Combined Territories of Southern and Western Relbmuf (CTSWR) - Nice try, like a pitcher trying to bat. 1.5/10


Republic of Kucheoria (KCH) - Big swing, no ding. 2/10


Island Republic of Medito (MED) - Home Run......just. 9.5/10


We still want better from the Phoronuan athletes, bronze was good in the first and third events, and the possible remains of the Olympic team logo designer washing up proves that no medal is not acceptable. We keep telling you that the leader wants you to bring us home plenty of gold, or you know what will happen.

Phoronu happens to be a very eco-friendly and technologically advanced nation. We do not need to change light bulbs as the technology used in ours is so advanced it lasts for many lifetimes.
