The BigFooty Tigercast came to life mid 2017 when the Richmond BF board decided it was time to have our own dedicated Podcast.

Our Podcast is unique because our weekly episodes feature 2 other posters from the Richmond board each week to help review and preview games, so you get to know our posters and hear different voices each week!

We have branched out a little bit by doing some past player interviews, interviews with people in the media and recently an interview with a local female footballer which was fascinating.

Tonight we had the absolute pleasure of being joined by @rbartlett to talk about the updated release of his book 'Richmond F.C, The Tigers' and how he become involved in researching the RFC history, some of his experiences contacting past players and families of past players, his involvement in the design of the 2019 ANZAC guernsey plus heaps more.

His knowledge of the club and the work that he does is simply amazing and I encourage everyone to pick up a copy of the updated version of the book which includes chaperts and interviews surrounding the 2017 flag plus more.

You can buy the book from the Tigerland Superstore, Slattery media website and all good book stores.


Rhett had to take off before we started the Review and Preview talk but I want to thank him again for his time tonight!

For the rest of the episode @Grockadoc @TigerFlag and I reviewed the Port game, Previewed the Swans game and we even threw in another Tigercast Takedown at the request of the guests!

Yeah I liked the podcast to.

I particularly concur with the commentary about Bolton and Chol, as well as Balta, and I hope Bolton and Chol stay in at least for the short term to see how they can develop and growth further with more continuity in the firsts as well as see how they can improve the results of our team performance going forward!!

I support the notion we have no reason to take the Gold Coast lightly, we have been beaten up there before, they will probably love to have a crack at us, and frankly we need to give maximum effort throughout the game to ensure victory!! One never knows what can happen, decisions might go against us etc.. so we cannot afford to not take this seriously and have a real crack!!

Not sure Jr will be quite right though especially after hearing him on AFL360.
