bigman how has Edwards been training? Interestingly Tex said he's a chance for a round one debut.

Roo asked him on a triple m segment this week and he responded by saying “he’d be close”.

I got the impression from your reports that his kicking as been a little disappointing? Has he been training with the mids in match sim?

Or maybe Tex was just being polite?
Edwards will be a better player for us than Curtin.

Curtin initially better, but Edwards will overtake him.

That ended up being a pretty crappy draft from in the 20s, only notable miss was McCreery after Cook. Never going to get Goulden, what a bargain he was
We should have bid on gulden early

Can’t believe the draft range difference on night between Campbell and Gulden , had them very even

Remember being excited re the Cook pick

Re Cook,

I'll say this for the second time this offseason,

Earlier THIS OFF SEASON Burgess stated that Cook's body was very immature and we should consider him almost like a draftee still (or something like that).

I took that to mean it'll be a year or two yet before he comes good.

Not even 3 months later and people are saying "Cooks had enough time", "needs to dominate SANFL" or "must show something this year or be delisted" etc. Shakes head.

The amnesia in this place is legendary.

Can we please take our opinions to the umpteen other threads and leave this one purely for its intention. Too hard for bigfooty I know but **** me…….

More complete footballer.
Goal kicking isn't as bad as it's made out to be.
Going to have to disagree in my own opinion as i think Curtin has the tools to become a very very very good AFL player - think in a year or 2 him moving into the midfield with his agility and size. I just think this guy has something a bit unique about him and we were very fortunate to get to a position where we could draft him

apologies but busy atm. Will post as soon as i can.
All good - I think Grotto could team up with you moving forward where you could supply him the report first and he can dress it up like a big screen production...akin to the starwars opening scene where it lays the story out on an infinite scrolling screen with music..BIGMAN TRAINING REPORTS EPISODE VII

That would be awesome to see

I love a good hot take early into a pair of careers.

But I can't say i'm with you on that. Curtin to me looks like the kind of player you would build in a video game. Perfect size, agility, skills, can play every line. I think the biggest issue for him may end up being that he's too versatile and not getting a sustained run in a single position.

Like early career Fog.

Report will be slightly delayed but a lot to say. Lot of match sim today. Fog left track early and laird a no show. Dawson and filthy killed it. More to come

Huge respect to bigman for getting the reports out at all. I was at training today and would be hard pressed to write 5 lines. DId you see what happened to Fog? He left early in the first qtr and was replaced on the blue team by Burgess. Filthy def BOG for mine.

His size would have the biggest advantage in the midfield.
