Thats unbelievable. Soft tissue problems off the scale. Diet, warm ups, discipline, work loads, warm downs...... something isn't being done properly. You can add lemmey (calf) and Durdin (quad) to the ever growing list of strain injuries at Carlton.
Not sure.Anyone else heard Docherty will be available for the Brisbane game? Heard he's tracking ahead of schedule.
so you thinks it’s more feasible to have humans with no calf’s as opposed to simply getting rid of Russell? Can we just ban our players from having calves?
They seem to be more trouble than they're worth at this point. Get rid, I say.

My brain has a good news filter at the moment. Only allows for bad news to be received.
Yes.so you thinks it’s more feasible to have humans with no calf’s as opposed to simply getting rid of Russell?
The game has become super quick so some level of injuries is expected but how some teams continuously have more than their fair share is puzzling To me. Is it just due to SOS recruiting too many of the injured variety or bad management or both.Yes.
I also suggested a page or 2 ago we get rid of ACLs while we're at it.
That’d be just shy of 4 weeks (off the 4-6 weeks prognosis), so good news if so & much needed inclusion.Anyone else heard Docherty will be available for the Brisbane game? Heard he's tracking ahead of schedule.
In seriousness I think list management has to be seen as a large component with it. Not only did we bring in injury prone players but we've extended them. The game has become super quick so some level of injuries is expected but how some teams continuously have more than their fair share is puzzling To me. Is it just due to SOS recruiting too many of the injured variety or bad management or both.
Surely we have a penetrometer.Either we are pushing players too hard, or it is our ground.
Something is not right.

Fast running couldn't possibly be the cause of our problems. The game has become super quick so some level of injuries is expected but how some teams continuously have more than their fair share is puzzling To me. Not bad out injury list is only 4 ..Updated injury list.
Not bad out injury list is only 4 ..
Philp Williams can't count same as cunners Marchy and Martin (they just permanent on and off it )
If you want to see something truly depressing then have a look at Adelaide’s injury list…one bloke I’ve never heard of!Has anyone checked out the West Coast injury list for this week? I just did (out of anxiety obviously) and it is pretty horrific reading.
Not only do they have the worst injury list I think I've ever seen a club have (McGovern, Naitanui, Ryan, Sheed, Shuey, Hurn, Yeo, Cripps, Cole and 8 others all listed) but they are absolutely taking the piss out of their fans and listing them all as 'TBC' each week - currently 12 players listed as TBC. Went to the West Coast board to see what the deal was and there's no need to bother... there's quite a discussion about it and it's been in their media too.
They still have some decent talent playing (Kelly, Barass, Darling, Gaff, and Shuey/Hurn possible this week) and are actually in decent form tbh - a 40 point loss to Port in Adelaide is quite respectable in the circumstances.
I honestly hope that we're really knuckling down and come out focused and ready to go. There's a big win and a reboot of our form (a la Geelong, who turned big wins against Hawthorn and West Coast into something more...) on offer if we just step up and take it
