Absolutely agree, once these three get in the park I’ve no doubt they are going to make the naysayers eat their words, in one to two weeks time - I am very confident about this.

The club has made a huge investment in this talented trio and I believe the clubs patience will be be rewarded very soon.

Not many people are doubting their talent but how can it be that any player misses more than 2 months from “calf tightness” as has been the case this year with all 3?

To put it into context Darcy Cameron did a high grade mcl in round 3 but he is now likely to be back sooner than Jack Martin who experienced calf tightness in round 1.

It’s clearly not calf tightness…but that’s the clubs continuous ducks n drakes around communicating to members on injuries.

I don’t see the issue with being honest about injuries, there’s zero competitive advantage here at all

Just stated as calf, from what I can see. Same if it was hamstring

I think we just need to have patience with Martin, Cuningham and Marchbank - as people all know things can change quickly - let’s give it another 1 to 2 weeks and re-assess then.

Think we’ve been pretty patient for the last 5 years with them. Particularly Marchbank and Cuners

Who do you think they could replace in the side?

If fit I think Marchy would replace Kemp

Cuningham/Martin would likely be the difficult ones. I don't have the faith in Cuningham others do, I'm not convinced he'd make the 22 consistently if fit. Same with Martin tbh. However given the inconsistencies of our smalls they possibly could've replaced Honey in Owies absence, and maybe put some pressure on JSOS.

It's an interesting selection dilemma as we have plenty of options, though none of them are really standout options.

From reading between the lines of the article the club published with the line up for this week, it seems like Jack Martin could play some managed minutes in the 2s this week, with Marchbank a chance the following week to do the same. Halley’s Comet must be due soon too.

As many have requested with better communication from the club on our injury report, e.g. Collingwood’s outlay on Tuesday (it doesn’t appear to be too hard).

I misheard McCreery on AFL360 referring to Jarrad Waite at the club which upon investigation was high performance manager Jarrad Wade, well praised re: running out 4th quarter as their strong point.

With our injury list being short and us being fairly crap, are these 2 related?

Are we being more softly softly with our training and fitness for fear of injuries? That in turn leads to mediocre to shit performances?
