Could probably add Williams into that mix even though his injuries have been a bit more on the harsher spectrum

Injuries aside, we've hopefully learnt that it's probably not wise to sign such players to big contracts based almost purely on potential rather than actual output to date (perhaps unless you're a club that has a track-record of actually extracting that potential, such as Geelong or maybe Sydney.)

Hmm, was excited for both signings as I thought it indicated we were beginning to turn the corner. They both bought X factor, but the time has come. Cut our losses and move on.
Just on McG, has lost a lot of weight to take pressure off the strings but his confidence went with it.

It’s getting harder and harder to disagree. If he does improve significantly I can’t help but think he’s closer to another injury and further disappointment.
Where's Jack Martin? Didn't play VFL and not on the injury list either?
On the blue abroad fan cams, i think someone mentioned he hurt his calf again or something like that. Probably resting up and assessed sometime soon?

Just offer him a settlement. If he’s on 450, offer 300 and let him save himself the hassle of pretending to rehab. He can go coach a country team.

Ill just leave this little gem:
1. Recruited and signed a 6 year deal to be a midfielder
2. I think it was 10 games when the club moved him back to a half back flank....
almost drives you to tears our recruiting from other clubs....
If Jack gets another niggle I wonder if we'll put him on ice for the season and place him on the LTI list to free a spot up for the mid-season draft.

Unfortunate but we need to take the emotion out of it and deal with the reality which is backed up by numerous years of continuous injury breakdown…
Martin Cunners Marchbank Philp should be all moved on, quite happy for the to sign on for our reserves team if they want, no other clubs are picking them up…
McGovern on watch hopefully gets through the year, another major setback and he needs to be moved on too…
Extremely important time from now on, in making the right and hard decisions on our list deficiencies and liabilities, we have some obvious issues and glaring holes that need rectifying…
Is Corey Durdin available then? Thought he might have hurt his leg but good news if he's all good.

I preferred our injury days we won more games back then … lol seriously though if I was to have one wish it would be for Marchbank and Cunners to play a solid block of senior games … is that too much to ask ?
