I think 4-5 days is plenty.
But to make sure everybody has plenty of time, I would move the initial meeting to the Friday at the start of the Free Agency Period. No trades happen on the first day anyway. Then everybody can hit the ground running on the Monday morning when it starts. Run it through to either the Thursday night or the Friday afternoon.

If trades come from left field and medicals are required etc 4-5 days is definitely not enough time.

The consequences of these decisions can last for 3-5 years - and punters want to reduce the process to 4-5 days for the entertainment value?

I just don’t get the impatience - makes no sense to me.

Actually today was vastly different. A trade was done, compared to yesterday where absolutely nothing happened.
Sure the trade didn't involve us at all, but 1 trade (a 3 way) is a lot more than 0.

The period is way too long.
Barely qualifies as a three way. If Dodo sitting in the corner with his tongue hanging out qualifies as participation in said three way.

I’m doing my research.

Wikipedia states...

Monster Mash" is a 1962 novelty song and the best-known song by Bobby "Boris" Pickett. The song was released as a single on Gary S. Paxton's Garpax Records label in August 1962 along with a full-length LP called The Original Monster Mash, which contained several other monster-themed tunes. The "Monster Mash" single was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on October 20–27 of that year, just before Halloween. It has been a perennial holiday favorite ever since.

Make of it what you will.

There's one there kinda looks like a ....giant?

A rumour from beyond the walls, from brother KohPhi

There is something big brewing, let me tell you. That's what I'm hearing folks..

Got some info about a "mystery player" who has approached us.
Unfortunately, there are some 'sensitivity' around this still so I can't name him..

The name of this 'big fish' will come out in the next few days and the media will explode. I will say however that it isn't someone that has been mentioned, but he toured our facilities today and then him, SOS and Agresta shared a large capriciosa with double anchovies at Toto's afterward.

Funnily, SOS was overheard saying the expense account had been 'cut dramatically' so Brodie wasn't invited.

But this "big fish" is definitely in the works. Don't ask who the player is.. please respect this. I can however tell you it's not Crouch, Gaff or Serhat Temel.

Stay the course and keep calm...Lots to play out yet. We are quite confident of him joining us. He still needs to explore other offers but we are well placed and think he will be a fantastic addition to the team.

I will pass on this cryptic clue.. make of it what you will..

"He did the mash, he did the monster mash..
The monster mash, it was a graveyard smash..
He did the mash, it caught on in a flash
He did the mash, he did the monster mash"..

Hold on to your hats BlueBaggers! All will be revealed shortly.

Why would they do that when they can just use 12 and 18 and are guaranteed green anyway because it gives them enough points

Giants have heaps of talent on their list already.

They’re chasing quality not quantity.

I suspect they’d prefer to use a pick at 4 on a potential gun - then burn all their “crap picks” on getting enough points for 1-2 Academy players.
