Tbh I believe that was the darkest time in my lifetime living as a Victorian, (Black Saturday bushfires, from a memory perspective at least, have no memory of the Russell St Bombings)

Just on Weitering's return, I did some useless stats below regarding Inside 50s. I was wondering if they had gone up since Weiterbot's injury, and therefore we may have lost some shape. But apart from Richmond loss, we still did OK in terms of quantity... quality however...?

Haven't checked them all, but Saints is wrong. It was us 49 to them 53 = -4

I don't think Weitering would impact the no. of i50s we concede but the %of those i50s that lead to scores (i.e. i50 efficiency).

That is true - but think there are other factors that influence raw i50 numbers e.g. effective clearances by the midfield and the ability for the forwards to lock it i50. So any changes in i50 numbers wouldn't necessarily be because of a Weitering absence

Would be nteresting to know what % of the total entries result from repeat entries (ie our defender kicks out blindly, they mark and kick it back in).

At a guess I’m thinking
~10-15%.

Plus he is as good as having a specialist coach on field down there, really directs traffic. For mine, Weitering is our most important player.
