The only chance Adelaide has of getting band 1 is a bidding war. Unfortunately it's pretty doubtful that'll happen now. I reckon pre-junkie Crouch clubs could be offering $3m over 5 but surely now no one will offer more than 2 years

Correct, if clubs in a premiership window just miss out then getting another midfielder to enable to push the likes of Danger or Dusty forward more becomes enticing.
