Loved seeing the fight from the team. Unlucky to not get the win, but what a performance to not let them get the run on in the last.

Was really impressed with the young guns. JUH, Darcy and Garcia were standouts against the best team in the comp. That is awesome. Thought Freijah looked good apart from a few costly mistakes.

Would like to see us go away from Bramble and Daniel to pump some games into younger players. Our list could really be in a strong spot going into next year.

Ed looked like one of the top midfielders in the league before the injury. Hope he and naughton aren’t out long.

What an effort, proud of the boys.

Usually hate the term 'brave loss' but that was a textbook example of it. We subbed out Scott immediately, Naughton was out at the start of the second term and we lost Richards a minute into the second half and we still got within 14 points despite wayward kicking and that dogshit 50 to seal the game.

Some accuracy and tackling failures, but great effort to the final siren. Tough next week without Naughton and Richards. And doubt Liber comes straight in?
But 23 vs 23, eh? Anything can happen.

Proud of the team tonight and proud to be a doggies supporter.

Probably should have won it in the end with the chances we had and no doubt on expected score that would be a win. But we had no right to come back so much in that last quarter. Down to two on the bench for the second half basically.

And loved seeing us mix it up in the midfield and make adjustments throughout the game.

Hoping for the best with Naughts

Frustrating game given the injuries but hell of an effort to be in it so late in the game, although I think a big part of that was Sydney playing their 2nd worst game of the year.

After the Naughton incident anything other than an ACL is really an overall win for the night so praying that eventuates as initially reported.

Garcia the other biggest positive for me.

12.16 another scoreline which kills us, against 16.6.

Oh and Sydney fans are clearly the most toxic of any supporter base. I don't think many of them even enjoy football, they seem to just watch as a chance to bitch about everything.

Didn’t switch off as I tend to talk shit on occasion, but the umpiring was absolutely terrible both ways, all ****ing night.

Credit for even getting close with 3 players out, including 1 within 5 minutes of the match and then 2 of our current best 5 players on form.

But honourable losses mean absolutely **** all. We will get spanked next week which makes tonight even worse.

Lastly, our conversion is absolutely disgraceful and we will need to spend years wondering how much of a powerhouse we could have been if we were clinical for once in our lifetimes.

Collingwood aren't going that great and Brisbane aren't either so we bring what we brought tonight and we're in those games up to our eyeballs.

Can’t blame the effort, can’t blame the umpires, we can blame the execution and perhaps the injuries mixed with the 5 day break.

Bottom line is though we had enough chances to win, we had 5 more shots at goal (including 7 of the last 8) and won on xScore by 2 goals.

Sydney punished poor turnovers and we didn’t.

Obviously great to play the way we did, but it’s pure frustration for me. Week after week more shots on goal and more inside 50s yet we can’t win.

Given we have blown so many winnable games, we needed to win ones like that.

Hope to see us keep playing well but with the injuries piling up and not haven’t banked winnable games, the season may get away from us.

good performance,

as expected too many errors from Freijah, bramble, gags et al. to get the win.

with performances like the last 3 weeks, how did we lose to so many poor teams and end up 3 and 5?

with our outs the season is cooked, might as well persist with the youth
