Flew the flag for the club post 90s, copping hard tags every single week for a number of years.

Not really. Boomer just has more strings to his bow and proves time and time again he is the player you let loose at your peril.
I don't see it as an indictment on the rest of the midfield at all. If anyone, Daniel Wells may have to be looked at because he is the bloke I expect to be relishing a free run.
In a year or so Atley will be tagged and Boomer will play his last year or so free to run.

Players only get tagged if they are worthy, it has nothing to do with the rest of the midfield.
Harvey doesn't even play in the midfield anymore, hasn't for the last 2 years.
I am sure if Harvey played for Freo teams would still choose to tag Stephen Hill.
Nice to see Nicshata isn't the only one sooking about Crowley's sly tactics being brought to attention.
Maybe Mr Pinchy is being a bit more careful since Boomer called him on his tactics.

You truly have no idea how stupid your post is - Congrats!
1. First of all Harvey is a 35 year old superstar of the game, who is still getting tagged most weeks.
2. Yes, Crowley beat him, well done - Crowley is a great tagger (even though I hate him). The whole team got dominated that day and we only scored 29 points or something like that.
3. When you verse a team that hasn't won a game, you are normally a better chance to play well when compared to getting spanked over in Freo.
4. Think before you start a new thread.

Harvey has been a great player for North, but this should be his last year.
North need to develop more leaders and having them rely on Harvey all the time isn't a good thing.
Especially when Harvey only stands up against lesser sides, then goes missing against the elite.

Harvey needs to play until he's not good enough. We'll always be a better side with him in it. He's not playing a mid role anymore so I don't think it'll have an effect on the kids 'stepping up'.
