A nippy rover who established a reputation as a goalsneak over his career. In 1990 he kicked five goals in his first game with Melbourne and for a while at Carlton he also held down a regular spot. Injuries held him back in the succeeding years with a broken leg ruining most of 1994 and 1995. He was getting back to something like his best in 1996 but slipped out of the side late in the year and eventually went to Port, but could not establish a regular place.
