Brent started the 2014 season as a rookie but was quickly elevated to the senior list following a season ending pre-season injury to fellow ruckman Jarrad Redden. He played just one game at AFL level, in round 8 against Fremantle, and registered a modest 3 disposals and 13 hit outs before being subbed off. Two weeks later, he injured his knee playing in the SANFL and was eventually ruled out for the year. He was delisted at season's end following a 16 game, 3 year career at the club.

Renouf Ready To Power
PORT Adelaide ruckman Brent Renouf says he is fully fit heading into Sunday's NAB Cup triple-header, after recovering from knee tendonitis.

A premiership player at Hawthorn, Renouf's injury, combined with pre-season surgery to Matthew Lobbe's hip, had the Power's ruck stocks looking dangerously depleted.

But less than a week from the start of his club's NAB Cup campaign, Renouf has declared himself ‘ready to go’.

Notes:
Brent was another player who missed significant time throughout the season due to injury. After missing much of the pre season and starting in the SANFL reserves, Brent quickly made his way into the AFL lineup and stayed there for 10 matches. A knee injury after the Geelong match in Round 14 stopped his season in its tracks and he did not play another match at any level for the rest of the year. Brent impressed with his ability to get his hands on the ball at stoppages, but durability or lack of it has always been a factor for him. Hopefully the new coaches can work with him to try and get him on the park for longer.
