You don't want to look slim in a footy guernsey. It's one of the key reasons the PBs look so bold. Having both vertical and horizontal stripes in perfect black to white contrast makes us look taller and wider at the same time.

May as well run that weird eyelet and fake lace effect they did in the sanfl.

Honestly I think the women’s version looks the most correct. The thinner cuffs also look a little more akin to the lace up jumpers from back in the day. I do get the feeling that horizontal bar goes up too high though, and I know the lace up ones went really high but with the logo positioning on a modern AFL jumper I’d probably have it going just high enough to still fit the AFL and MG logos below the Macron logo rather than in line with it.
Cotton On are the exclusive on-field apparel manufacturer for all 18 AFLW clubs and use a different template for the women's guernseys. This results in there being minor variations between men and women's guernseys for all teams.

If there wasn’t it’s a very good sign, it’s so normalised that it doesn’t have to be a significant event beyond the people who are involved and support the club.
That was my thought as well. Nature is healing and the Collingwood mind virus is gone.
