Just picked up one. Few people in the shop not overly busy but constant.

Saw a legend stocking up for the family with four and two obviously for the kiddies.

Generation to generation learning about the importance of the bars.

Love to see it.
Pitty the club still seems to think it needs a balance between how it markets and brands its self to the "older" and "younger" generations...apparently a lot of research is done is this area. We will never learn.

I suspect the AFL told us to pull our heads in with our little stunt putting the bars on after that game last year.

The reason we're not wearing the bars is the same reason we're shit on the field. We're a loser club run by losers. We're not accountable and we get upset when there's even a small amount of pressure on us to achieve anything.

A regime change will see a huge improvement in our stakes here. If Koch had the stones (he absolutely doesn't), he'd force this through on his way out as a parting gift.

We may as well wear the bars on Thursday night, nothing to lose now.

They can't take 4 points off us if we don't have 4 points ...

I’m so glad we focussed on winning the game and not fighting to secure our heritage, it would have been really embarrassing otherwise.

LOL. Just LOL.

This club's on-field performance since the prelim final last year bears no relation to the record breaking teams of the 50s and the dominant 1970s, 80s and 90s era that wore those prison bars and made it the icon it is.

Imagine if the club had made a public statement about the bars and our proud winning heritage etc. last week.

Would have been a thick layer of putrid cream on the 5 layer shit-cake, a laughable disconnect between talk and action.

But hey don't be disappointed, maybe the club will make a statement about the bars this week. That would be right on point wouldn't it. 🤮

Oh the pussy is back.
What are you scared of today?

I see, standing for anything.

If your support for history and heritage is dependent on results, it ain’t worthshit.

Verballing seems to be a talent of yours.

Making juvenile personal attacks on posters who disagree with you and deliberately twisting what they say to suit your narrative. And in the process lecturing others about what it means to be a true supporter of PAFC.

Nice one.

Again. My comments relate to the club issuing a public statement/stand about the bars this week.

It's simply laughable to think that 99% of the 50k paid up supporters of this club woke up this morning wishing Koch or Richo had come out making a statement about the prison bars last week.

And reckon a fair percentage of them know a lot more about the 'heritage and history' of PAFC than you ever will.

I suggest this is what most of them are thinking today:

I'm now happy for the club to not pursue the wearing of the PBs in an AFL game until Hinkley and Koch are gone and we can get back to being Port Adelaide.

I smdh every time I see that awful SANFL logo update. It’s literally the old one with some WordArt slapped over the top.
And that garbage shield around it too, the old one was looking dated but the way it shared the same contours as the S was pretty neat

Well they're not going to but why does the PB campaign always come under attack when we flop on the field? The PB is a priority just like all the other priorities and they re-order based on pressing needs.

I'm a bit different anyway. Whenever the onfield goes sour I yearn more and more for a time where my club can once again be total Port Adelaide.

Nah you’re just an attention seeker who would kill his own dog to get the last word in.

This sounds like the coalition trying to argue that they can't legalise marriage equality because they have to focus on the economy and border protection.

You're aware it's not the football department drafting and releasing a statement about guernseys, aren't you?

Just a totally bizarre line of argument. Did you get dressed AND brush your teeth before you went to work on Friday? How'd you manage the unthinkably complex level of multitasking?

Considering the club is sitting 17th yes 17 and 0-3 on the ladder this PR narrative that the club first pushed out about the Prison Bars is nothing more to get gullible supporters to gloss over the failures of ten years and the man in the box Kenneth. If you think for one moment the MAJORITY of supporter after the showdown and the day after are thinking Prison Bars you are very much in denial.

You can't get a fisting by the Hawks lose to the Crows with 8min to go our amazing coach slowed the game down. We don't have a coach that even cares about the creed or demands what the old Prison Bars were played for. In his post-match statement all he could say was that the players have to keep working at getting better that a joke !

On August 31, 1995, Port Adelaide launched its new brand for the AFL. At the Adelaide Entertainment Centre " Port Adelaide will always be our name but we have a new nickname"

Its time to realise we have real issues facing our club real problems at the moment if you are not careful the dark days will come quickly
