Yeh you know we will either lose draft picks or 2023 points. The Collingwood AFL would not stand for it.

Worth it to show them up for the twats they are.Wouldn't just be points. More likely to be excluded from the first 3 rounds of the draft plus a 6 figure fine. Regards, Gil.
He knows the legal legs to stand on, better than anyone, on more than just the 2007 agreement. 2007 agreement was about heritage round. There is a lot more to this than just heritage round. Its up to us to discover any legal weakness. The AFL or Browne wont volunteer it.So in other words, he knows that there is no legal leg to stand on and in fact that the behaviour of his predecessor in drafting and signing that 2007 agreement would not hold up if matters get legal.
This is all about helping Collingwood, a power Victorian club, save face. IMO we should be pushing harder, not softer, because we'll end up being served table scraps and told to love it.
Fine, it will then end up in Court!Wouldn't just be points. More likely to be excluded from the first 3 rounds of the draft plus a 6 figure fine. Regards, Gil.
But did anyone check with Collingwood about this?
Probably an over reaction, but the new prez is already behaving like the previous one, so strike while the iron is hot...
Pies prez under fire for making ‘appalling, disrespectful’ De Goey joke in front of AFLW side

Nah - the AFL does everything it can to avoid going to the supreme/federal court. Bluff and bluster does the job.If there were a real legal stand to stop us, it would have been used by now.
Pretty disappointed that the club hasn’t released many training galleries during the season to show who was the hidden hero each week. Think I’ve seen like 1 person wearing the Prison Bars at training this year.
Good thing there aren't any other teams who wear red, yellow and blue in the league.
What's that? There are multiple other teams who wear red, yellow and blue? And one of them is Brisbane's direct and only intrastate opposition?
Hmm.
Unfortunately many positions filled by the club in those spaces are by young uni/tafe graduates who have little to no affiliation with the club prior to getting the job.Pretty disappointed that the club hasn’t released many training galleries during the season to show who was the hidden hero each week. It's just a job, they have little understanding of what makes the club tick or what the die hards actually want to see. Instead we get some vanilla teal power franchise crap.

Of course they won’t, they will barely wear them WITH permission. As much as I love the passion here does anyone realistically think Koch and crew would get us to wear the PB's without AFL approval?
Even now as members we still haven't had a courtesy email documenting exactly what we're asking for.
Face it, we're white noise and the Club is really only paying lip service to wearing them. They don't care.......
