What happened for the Anzac Appeal game? Did we wear something special for that? Or is this just another in a long line of things we were going to do but didn't get our s**t together?
it was minor but there was some differences:

We all know it was supposed to be the bars but they didn't have the nuts to call it out because they weren't willing to push hard enough and now it will be Stealth. Is the club gonna shed any light on what this “mystery special event” guernsey is? Surely they can’t pass off the STEALTH as a special event.

Wtf is this stealth thing? I usually read every bloody post on this friggin board (except the COVID and sack kern cesspits - I just can't keep up), and I have absolutely NFI what this is.
Like **** will I be at any game we wear that shit when we haven’t secured the PB’s.The "Stealth" jumpers, t-shirts etc are the latest gimmick that Macron/Port are using to make money.
The Club appears to be pushing it via email, social media and even the Club Podcast to help divert attention from our very ordinary performances, and the fact they don't even want to talk about the PB jumper!!
Once again the Club are working on the "look it's new and shiny" theory.
The AFL conveniently binned heritage rounds the year after we signed that contract we never should've bloody signed but now they are running with retro round, is there much difference? If Eddie and co are going to harp on about the contract that was signed nearly 2 decades ago, albeit in bad faith from the AFL and Collingwood, then why aren't we pushing to wear the bars this weekend against Geelong in retro/heritage round or whatever you want to call it, it's basically the same thing where clubs wear there old guernseys. Am i missing something?
There's no official "retro round", that's a Fox Footy marketing thing. That being said, Geelong billed their own match as retro round a few weeks ago, and Freo are doing the same next week (they aren't wearing their retro Guernsey until Round 20). So even if we wanted to stick with this stuff contract why can't we just call whichever game we want "Heritage round".
The answer is because nobody at the club gives a s**t
This qualifies as retro round dont it?The AFL conveniently binned heritage rounds the year after we signed that contract we never should've bloody signed but now they are running with retro round, is there much difference? *ing disgracefulI wanted to know if it was really as blatant as it felt, with pretty much every other team running with something Heritage our "Retro" at some point, so I scoured footyjumpers.com and the footy jumpers board and came up with this list, this is just this year:
Adelaide: -
Brisbane: Fitzroy away Guernsey
Bears inspired Indigenous Guernsey
One-off 20 year anniversary of 2002 premiership Guernsey
Carlton: -
Collingwood: -
Essendon: Heritage logo for entire year
One-off 150 years Guernsey
Fremantle: "Retro Round" One-off 99 Away Guernsey
Geelong: "Retro Round" one-off Guernsey
Gold Coast: -
GWS: -
Hawthorn: "Legends" clash guernsey "inspired by a Guernsey from 1933"
Melbourne: 75-inspired clash guernsey
North Melbourne: Return to heritage blue stripes on white permanent home Guernsey
Richmond: -
St. Kilda: 97-inspired clash guernsey
Sydney: South Melbourne Guernsey for all Victorian games plus as a clash
West Coast: 1987-inspired clash guernsey
Western Bulldogs: "Retro Round" One-off 25 years since Whitten Oval Guernsey
It's pretty ridiculous.
Meanwhile at Ports:I wanted to know if it was really as blatant as it felt, with pretty much every other team running with something Heritage our "Retro" at some point, so I scoured footyjumpers.com and the footy jumpers board and came up with this list, this is just this year:

Nah carn mate how could 100 years since that team compare with 25 years since a team played at an oval or arbitrary amount of time since a team wore an arbitrary Guernsey? It's all about celebrating true heritage, which exists only as the VFL/AFL.Meanwhile at Ports:
1914 Invincible season not important enough.
Oh we clash with Richmonds away jumper at our own home game. Now it's important.
No wonder they could get rid of heritage round officially. Not required because now it's open slather for any club to do whatever they want heritage wise every week. Port is an abuse victim that won't stand up for itself.I wanted to know if it was really as blatant as it felt, with pretty much every other team running with something Heritage our "Retro" at some point, so I scoured footyjumpers.com and the footy jumpers board and came up with this list, this is just this year:

This X Plenty, the club is currently run by the weakest mouth breathing campaigners we have ever had in its history, and nothing will change until they are gone, and when that day finally arrives hopefully it won't be too late to salvage something from the mess! It's our own fault. We let ourselves be bullied and our heritage diminished. There's no reason whatsoever that we need to accept the limitations put on our use of the PB guernsey. The club is entirely complicit in this.
The fact that our club says nothing whilst all of this goes on is nothing short of pathetic. No wonder they could get rid of heritage round officially. Not required because now it's open slather for any club to do whatever they want heritage wise every week. Port is an abuse victim that won't stand up for itself.

The oppressors could make it harder to buy PB's. Make them limited edition $250/$350 garments only. Make the SANFL ones hard to buy compared to any other SANFL team. The only shining light in all this are the supporters who slowly but surely have increased the visibility of the PBs in the crowd. Hopefully it continues to the point where the vast majority are wearing them and it just becomes a constant talking point.
Not saying this will achieve much outside of agitating our oppressors but it’s better than nothing.
