Let them do whatever they want. Standing up for ourselves over this issue would be a potential turning point in the club's hitherto underwhelming AFL story. Become a strong, ruthless club who commands respect off field and who knows, you might even see some of that feed into the on field side of things.

Perfectly played by AFL House and their proxies, no let's call them collaborators here on our [club!] board, dragging out a significant emotional distraction to divert attention from the Hinkley Issue, will we or won't we Bar Up, ever, now potentially chewing air time all the way to the start of season 2023.

Those who think this will ever happen: what on earth could we possibly offer Collingwood to would make it worth them giving up such a bargaining chip over AFL House?

Don't expect a drastic response by the club in Round 23 because from the club's perspective there is hope for 2023.

Personally, I don't think there is hope in 2023. I think the club has been duped and taken for a ride just to put ice on the campaign, and they have succeeded. I think that the only solution is a drastic response but the club will cop consequences.

So does anyone here genuinely think we’d go against the decision and wear the PBs anyway?
Keep in mind we are a Club that were offended by a Sack Hinkley sign/sticker…..
Once again the Club has shown we are good corporate citizens.
We will continue to see other clubs celebrating their history whenever they feel like it while we use our”soft diplomacy “ skills and can’t even wear PBs once.

Collingwood FC have no objection with the Southport Sharks wearing their traditional strip in the VFL competition.
Cool, thanks Collingwood media spokesperson. Now let Port Adelaide Football Club limited wear their traditional strip in the AFL competition.
