Historically-speaking, I’d love to know who greenlit the all-teal guernsey not 5 seconds after we were permitted to wear the bars in a nationally-televised final against a traditional Victorian powerhouse to universal acclaim?

As far as red flags go, that was a pretty big one for the sheer derp-factor of the incumbent admin.

All the tough talk means squat if we aren’t going to actually make a stand about this. We’ve tried diplomacy and dealing in good faith, and that’s got us no where. Time for insubordination.

I don't know why I'm bothering to post on your board, but it really is freaking appalling that you're not allowed to wear the jumper.

I get that the push back was strong when Eddie was president and he's a bloviating POS when he doesn't get his way.

I think blaming Kochie and your board is lazy and easy to do when the club is not as successful as it would like to be. It is 100% Collingwood's fault.

The stupid thing about the whole scenario is the request is, as Gil said, "reasonable". No ****ing shit it is reasonable. It was reasonable even when Eddie was president. It was reasonable 25 years ago. Stupid territorial shit like this from dinosaurs drive me bonkers.

Kochie should disclose the written agreement that was signed allowing us to wear the bars in our 150th season.

That would settle the argument once and for all as to who is lying.

You would hope that a document was signed by both clubs but knowing our club it would have been some form of verbal agreement.

Collingwood referencing an agreement that doesn't exist again? Show us the paperwork you ******* liars
There isn’t one, the AFL own everything.

Kochie was told last season that in our case, the penalty is a 4 point deduction.
Great. Win the showdown and potentially improve our draft pick.

Seriously though, feels like Kochie is just trying to deflect the general supporter angst at something the club is happy to talk about. Where's he been since the prelim?

The whole AFL is almost as contrived and fake as the WWE now anyway. The AFL is every club and every club is the AFL. One club sues another and the AFL just has to prop it up anyway. Collingwood suing Port, may as well sue itself. The only reason not to force the issue is because those who could force it are scared that they will be in trouble and blacklisted from future AFL employment. This whole thing is about the personal gumption and objectives of those running Port more than the AFL or Collingwood.

The thing is, Southport - a lesser known club - are far more likely to be confused with Collingwood. With Ports bars being widely recognised its just even more baffling as to how Southport can, but we cant. Who made Collingwood the arbiters of black and white? What a *up.
Collingwood has had the balls to make themselves the arbiters of black and white...just like Port could make themselves the arbiters of their own jumper if they also had a fraction of said balls..

And monetary and political influence over the AFL.

There is no ‘fine’ set.
There is no ‘agreement’.

It’s all what the AFL can be bothered allowing, they own it ALL!

Why have we been going the “good nature” approach when they’ve consistently been absolute dicks? Just **** dealing with them anymore. It has to and should always be an AFL matter.
