Context Context Context. Probably meant vertical but I guess a woods fan can only see in black and white.AFL: Well, it does have horizontal stripes...
Port Counsel: As do Hawthorn and North Melbourne
Really? Horizontal stripes? I thought that was Geelong...
No body cares about Collingwood, so what's your point? Why is everyone bringing up Southport, they are not in the AFL. The VFL is a second-tier feeder competition, nobody cares who wears what there.
I reckon Gilligan made a solemn late night promise to his good buddy McGuire over cigars/lines at one or the other's Toorak/Brighton mansions - "Not on my watch, don't you worry about that Ed, just keep saying no, hur hur..."
So we can wear the bars when we join the AFL reserves then? Why is everyone bringing up Southport, they are not in the AFL. The VFL is a second-tier feeder competition, nobody cares who wears what there.
Yep, and i could say context when people say Geelong and Carlton wear blue, so the argument about "owning" black and white doesn't hold.. And Hawthorn and NM wear vertical stripes. So "owning" vertical stripes (or horizontal stripes turned 90 degrees for all i care) doesn't apply.Context Context Context. Probably meant vertical but I guess a woods fan can only see in black and white.
You do wear the bars in your reserves team competition... The team is called Port Adelaide Magpies, and plays in the SANFL, doesn't it?So we can wear the bars when we join the AFL reserves then?
There will be a time when we'll remove ourselves from the SANFL and join the VFL, or an 18 team AFL Reserves comp. You do wear the bars in your reserves team competition... The team is called Port Adelaide Magpies, and plays in the SANFL, doesn't it?
Yep, maybe you will join the VFL. But the problem you will have is the same one you face in the AFL.. There already is a team in that competition wearing B&W vertical stripes. There will be a time when we'll remove ourselves from the SANFL and join the VFL, or an 18 team AFL Reserves comp.
I'd like for us to still retain use of the Prison Bars and home games at Alberton in any case.
I don't think anyone would have a problem if your reserves team Port Adelaide Magpies was in the VFL instead of the SANFL. They would just need an appropriate clash strip for games against Collingwood. The AFL is a completely different case.So we can wear the bars when we join the AFL reserves then?

"Port Power is not associated with The Port Adelaide Football Club in the SANFL, it's a completely separate club that started from scratch, if you don't like it, GO BACK to the SANFL."

It's a pretty simple question that you totally misunderstood or chose to.You do wear the bars in your reserves team competition... The team is called Port Adelaide Magpies, and plays in the SANFL, doesn't it?

Beta cuck mentality.
It's a simple answer as well. Where CFC already fields a team that wears B&W stripes, any new team joining that competition will have to wear a guernsey that is significantly different to the one worn by them. That applies currently to the AFL, VFL, AFLW, Netball, and even the Mini league. It's a pretty simple question that you totally misunderstood or chose to.
Thanks for sharing your opinion moron but nobody cares. As has been posted a million times, the AFL are the decision makers and thats who Port need to deal with. You will have the same issues and problems trying to wear the PAMFC guernsey. But, you can wear it in the SANFL, WAFL, NRL, NBL, etc.
Haha..Haha - yes indeed! Made that mistake before once when I posted a pic on twitter of Jason Momoa in the Bars, saying he obviously found the horizontal stripes slimming
You would get along really well with thundercloud.Haha..
I was no good at remembering which way vertical and horizontal was as well.. Until someone told me the way to remember... Horizontal goes the way of the horizon....sideways... Then it becomes easy...
4 point deduction is good. the lower we finish the betterKochie was told last season that in our case, the penalty is a 4 point deduction.
Yep, i'm on your board, so i will just have to take the name-calling, but by you posting, it seems you do care about my opinion..Thanks for sharing your opinion moron but nobody cares. Umm, who is he/she?You would get along really well with thundercloud.
The PAMFC don't exist and the PAFC wore the guernsey long before them, try and at least get your basic facts right. It's a simple answer as well.
